The St. Croix Valley's Biggest Food Day Returns
The Food Truck Extravaganza is back for its eleventh year, and it's become one of the most anticipated summer events in the Twin Cities east metro.
Hosted by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, this year's festival takes place Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Around 40 food trucks will line the grounds serving an enormous range of cuisines, and the whole thing runs rain or shine.
What to Expect on June 20th
The lineup includes around 40 food trucks covering just about every craving you can think of.
Attendees will find vendors serving Vietnamese street food, Jamaican dishes, cheese curd tacos, Philly cheesesteaks, pronto pups, Swedish sausage, donuts, shaved ice, and more.
Beyond the food, the event includes a beer garden, live performances from Josh Quinn, Two Men and a Piano, and SPF30, a marketplace showcasing local vendors, and an expanded kids zone featuring face painting and balloon artists.
The event is also pet friendly for leashed dogs.
Tickets, Parking, and Details
Admission is $5 per person, and children under five get in free. Parking at the fairgrounds is free.
A portion of the ticket proceeds goes directly to the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce's scholarship fund, which supports local students pursuing education and careers in the skilled trades.
That makes this more than just a food festival. It's a community investment.
Why This Event Matters for the East Metro
Events like the Food Truck Extravaganza are part of what makes the Stillwater and Washington County area such an attractive place to live.
The St. Croix Valley consistently draws new residents who are looking for that combination of natural beauty, walkable downtown charm, strong schools, and genuine community identity.
When you can walk through a fairground with 40 local food vendors, a live music stage, and thousands of your neighbors, it says something about the fabric of the area.
For anyone considering a move to Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Woodbury, or anywhere in the east metro, this is the kind of Saturday that shows you what life here is really like.
