Two of the most iconic designer brands in the Twin Cities—Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.—are relocating from the prestigious Galleria to the newly renovated Southdale Center. Their move marks a major milestone in Southdale’s $400 million redevelopment, transforming the mall into a top-tier luxury shopping destination.Set to debut June 12, Southdale’s new luxury wing will feature natural light, high ceilings, and a curated collection of designer labels including Gucci, Burberry, Max Mara, Moncler, Watches of Switzerland, and David Yurman. Vineyard Vines, Kate Spade, and lululemon—also former Galleria tenants—have already made the move.Meanwhile, Galleria is trying to maintain its boutique appeal, recently announcing a new Boll & Branch storefront and an expansion of Arhaus. The center also introduced Laserie, a new local fashion brand.Tiffany & Co. has been a Galleria staple since 2004, while Louis Vuitton joined the upscale retail center in 2010.
