Costco Officially Switches from Pepsi to Coca-Cola

Costco Officially Switches from Pepsi to Coca-Cola

Costco just made a major move that’s sparking serious soda loyalty debates: they're officially transitioning all food court beverages from Pepsi to Coca-Cola. And yes—this change includes every Minnesota and Wisconsin location, including Duluth.

Duluth shoppers were among the first to experience the switch, with the local store confirming their fountain machines were updated just last week. While this means Pepsi fans will need to look elsewhere for their favorite sip, Coke lovers are celebrating the arrival of Coca-Cola, Sprite, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Barq’s Root Beer, and Minute Maid Lemonade.

Costco’s decision is part of a national rollout set to be completed by fall 2025. Whether you’re grabbing the iconic $1.50 hot dog and drink combo or a slice of pizza, your drink pairing is now firmly in Team Coke territory.

For some, this is a welcome refresh. For others, it’s a major disappointment—especially those loyal to Mountain Dew or other Pepsi staples. Still, one thing’s clear: the value-packed Costco meal deal isn’t going anywhere, and that’s something we can all celebrate.

So—are you Team Coke or Team Pepsi? Join the debate and let your fellow Minnesōtans know where you stand!
