St. Paul's Soccer Stadium Goes Beyond the Pitch
Allianz Field has always been one of the most visually striking venues in the Twin Cities — but this summer, the stadium is officially stepping into a new role.
The Great Lawn Concert Series, a six-night outdoor music event, launches May 29th and runs through September 18th on the green space just outside the stadium. It's the first summer concert series in Allianz Field's history, and it's a meaningful pivot toward positioning the venue as a year-round community destination in St. Paul's Midway neighborhood.
The Full 2026 Lineup
Seven tribute bands are scheduled across six nights.
- Brit Floyd opens the series on May 29th with a Pink Floyd deep-dive.
- Blank Space — a Taylor Swift tribute — performs June 13th.
- July brings back-to-back weekends featuring:
- A Killers tribute (July 24)
- A Journey tribute and a Queen tribute sharing the evening on July 31
- AM Gold Yacht Rock takes over August 14th.
- SuperSonic — a North American Oasis tribute — closes things out on September 18th.
Public tickets go on sale Friday, April 4th at 10 a.m. CT.
What This Means for the Midway Neighborhood
This isn't just a fun summer event — it's a signal.
The Midway corridor in St. Paul has been one of the more closely watched development zones in the Twin Cities over the past several years, anchored by Allianz Field and its surrounding green space along the Green Line light rail.
When a major venue activates non-event-day programming with consistent community draws, it tends to reinforce the walkability and vibrancy that attract both residents and businesses to a neighborhood. That kind of sustained foot traffic has real downstream effects on local property demand.
The outdoor green space at Allianz was intentionally designed for community activation when the stadium opened in 2019 — this concert series is the most ambitious use of it yet.
Why It Matters for Buyers and Sellers
For Twin Cities buyers considering the Midway area or nearby St. Paul neighborhoods, programming like this is worth factoring in.
Neighborhood energy and activity are underrated signals of long-term value.
