The Washington County Environmental Center is located at 4039 Cottage Grove Dr. in Woodbury, MN just south of Bailey road  and of West of Manning Ave.  This is a wonderful service for the City of Woodbury and surrounding areas.  If you’ve ever wondered where to get rid of hazardous material such as Paint, Aerosol cans, Fluorescent bulbs, used automotive fluids and cleaners, the environmental center will most likely take them otherwise they’ll steer you in the right direction of someone who will. They make the process super easy for you drop off your items.  All you have have to do is follow the signs and pull around the building and drive in.  An attendant will grab your drivers license to make sure your a local resident and then they will ask you what you have to drop off.  You don’t even have to get out of your car.  Just pop your trunk or gate and they will remove it for you. You can then drive out and the whole process only takes about 1-2 minutes.

The Environmental Center also has a free product room.  Residents can look for items such as latex and oil paints, household cleaners, automotive supplies, and even books.  The center is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Check their website for updated hours. Many of my seller clients utilize the service to drop off their old paint cans before moving.  Stop by and check it out for yourselves.  Thanks for watching make sure to tell your friends about this great place.
