Woodbury Days 2026: Your Guide to the Woodbury, Minnesota Summer Weekend

Woodbury Days 2026: Your Guide to the Woodbury, Minnesota Summer Weekend

Woodbury Days is back for 2026, and if you live anywhere in the east metro, this is the community weekend to circle on your calendar. The festival returns to Ojibway Park in Woodbury, Minnesota from August 28 to 30, with free admission and three full days of activities for every age.

What Makes Woodbury Days a Twin Cities Staple

Every summer, Woodbury Days pulls in around 25,000 people and features roughly 200 local businesses, which is a big part of why it feels like the whole city shows up. The lineup covers a lot of ground: the Grande Parade on Sunday, a full carnival, live music, bingo, the Taste of Woodbury tent, kids activities, and a business fair. Hours run Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For a growing suburb like Woodbury, an event this size does more than fill a weekend. It's a snapshot of why families keep moving to the east metro. Walkable parks, a strong small-business scene, and community events that actually bring neighbors together are the same things buyers ask me about when they tour homes out here.

New This Year and What to Plan For

There are two things worth knowing before you head over. First, Hangtime Boardshop is hosting a Scooter and Skateboard Open with cash prizes. It's open to all ages and free to enter, but you do need to register in advance. Second, and this is the one locals need to hear, parking will be limited this year because of projects at Woodbury High School.

The organizers have a fix: a free shuttle running between Bailey Elementary and Ojibway Park during all event hours. For Sunday's parade, shuttles start at 7:30 a.m. between Bailey Elementary and Red Rock Elementary and return after the parade wraps. If you'd rather skip the parking hunt, the shuttle is the easy call.

Don't forget the Medallion Hunt is underway too, with clues posting on the Woodbury Days Facebook and Instagram pages. [INTERNAL LINK: relevant Woodbury community or neighborhood guide post]

Whether you're new to Woodbury or you've been here for years, Woodbury Days is a great reminder of what makes this corner of the Twin Cities feel like home.
