Revival Restaurant Returns: Jester Concepts Brings Back Minnesota’s Favorite Fried Chicken

Minnesota foodies, rejoice—Revival is making a comeback. After closing its doors just seven months ago, the beloved Southern fried chicken brand is being resurrected by none other than Jester Concepts. Known for local hotspots like Butcher & The Boar and Rustica Bakery, Jester has acquired all of Revival’s intellectual property, including its name, recipes, and social media presence.

Starting this summer, Twin Cities residents will spot Revival’s food trucks popping up at breweries, weddings, and other private events. Jester is also on the hunt for new brick-and-mortar locations, signaling a full-scale return of this cherished brand. Even better, the original founders—Nick Rancone and James Beard-nominated chef Thomas Boemer—will stay involved as consultants and equity partners.

Founded in 2015, Revival quickly became a standout in the Minnesota food scene, earning praise for its crispy fried chicken, creative menu, and vibrant Southern vibe. With Jester Concepts behind the wheel, Revival 2.0 is poised for serious success—and hungry fans can’t wait.

Whether you remember their U.S. Bank Stadium outpost or once waited an hour for a plate in Uptown, Revival’s return is exciting news for Minnesota diners.
