Face Foundrié Expands Nationwide: From Edina Startup to Skincare Empire
A Minnesota Brand on the Rise
What started as a single location in Edina’s Galleria is now one of the fastest-growing skincare franchises in the country. Founded in 2019 by Michele Henry, Face Foundrié has grown from one Twin Cities facial bar into a 63-location national brand, with more openings coming soon.
Nationwide Growth with Minnesota Roots
In just the last three months, Face Foundrié has opened six new locations across states like New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Connecticut, Michigan, and California. The company plans to add four more before the end of the year and reach 100 total franchise units by mid-2026.
The expansion comes as the company’s franchise model continues to fuel growth. According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, 58 of the 63 locations are franchise-owned, making it one of Minnesota’s top 20 franchisors.
Local Ownership and Continued Twin Cities Growth
Back home, Minnesota franchisee Gemma Bohlman continues to grow her Twin Cities presence. She already operates Face Foundrié spas in Blaine, Wayzata, and Apple Valley, and plans to open a new Chanhassen location soon. The expansion will give more Minnesotans access to quick, affordable, and results-driven facials without the luxury price tag.
Minnesota: A Hub for National Brands
Face Foundrié’s success highlights a growing trend — Minnesota-born brands expanding nationally while maintaining strong local roots. From skincare to craft beer to tech startups, the Twin Cities continue to produce companies making waves across the country.
If you’re a local business owner dreaming of expansion, or just love seeing Minnesota brands win, keep watching this space — there’s plenty more good news ahead.
