Flight Club Is Bringing Social Darts to the North Loop

London’s Flight Club Bringing Tech Powered Darts to Minneapolis’ North Loop

The North Loop continues to evolve as Minneapolis’ most active entertainment district, and the newest addition coming in late 2026 adds something completely different to the mix. Flight Club, the London based restaurant and bar concept known for its “social darts,” has announced plans to open at 729 Washington Ave N. The space was previously home to North Loop Galley, a multi vendor food hall that closed earlier this year.

Flight Club launched in 2015 with a simple idea: take the casual fun of British pub darts and elevate it with modern technology. Each dart lane uses live scoring, various game modes, and interactive displays that make the traditional bar game faster, more social, and easier for groups. The brand now has more than two dozen locations across the UK, Australia, and the United States, where Minneapolis will be one of the next markets.

A Major New Buildout in the North Loop

The Minneapolis location will be one of the larger Flight Club venues, spanning about 9,400 square feet with 1,600 square feet dedicated to an outdoor patio. The design will follow the brand’s signature approach: every location is fully unique, blending British pub elements with aesthetics tied to the neighborhood. For the North Loop, that means mixing classic textures and pub style warmth with modern industrial themes already common throughout the area.

What the Venue Brings to the Neighborhood

Washington Ave has seen steady growth in entertainment options over the past few years. The arrival of Five Iron Golf, Frgmnt Coffee, and new restaurants has boosted foot traffic and given residents and visitors more ways to spend time in the neighborhood. Flight Club adds another group friendly activity to the mix, further strengthening the North Loop’s identity as a destination for food, nightlife, tech powered attractions, and unique experiences.

For residents, this means more amenities within walking distance. For local businesses, it often means increased traffic and exposure. For the broader Twin Cities community, it’s another example of national concepts choosing Minneapolis for expansion, signaling confidence in the region’s growth.

Why Minnesotans Are Paying Attention

Entertainment concepts with a strong social component tend to do well in the Twin Cities, especially when they offer something new. Flight Club’s mix of pub atmosphere, elevated food and drink, and modern gaming makes it a strong fit for groups, date nights, and company outings. Its arrival shows how the North Loop continues to attract a diverse mix of tenants, from restaurants and coffee shops to tech infused activity venues.

Whether you live in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Edina, Woodbury, or anywhere across the metro, this type of development adds to the overall lifestyle options that help make the Twin Cities a great place to live.

If you’re curious about how new developments impact real estate trends or you’re planning a move in the Twin Cities area, I’d be happy to help you navigate your options.
