Eagle Street Returns to St. Paul with a New Downtown Sports Bar
Downtown St. Paul just welcomed back a familiar name with the opening of the new Eagle Street, a sports bar and restaurant that pays tribute to the beloved Eagle Street Grille.
A Legacy Reimagined
The original Eagle Street Grille operated for 20 years before closing in April 2023, leaving a void in the downtown dining scene. Many longtime fans were left hoping for its return. That wish came true when co-owners Jim Flaherty and Joe Kasel—who also run Pauly’s Pub and Grill—revived the brand this fall.
The New Space
Located in the former Apostle Supper Club at 253 Kellogg Boulevard, the new Eagle Street brings a more casual and welcoming vibe. It’s designed to be a go-to gathering spot before and after games, concerts, and nights out in St. Paul. The space also features live music, an energetic atmosphere, and a lineup of craft cocktails.
Food and Drinks
The menu is filled with American classics and creative pub fare. Guests can expect wings, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches alongside unique dishes like a Reuben quesadilla and Irish nachos. Whether you’re looking for a pre-game snack or a hearty dinner, Eagle Street delivers options to fit the occasion.
A New Hub for St. Paul Nights
With the Grand Casino Arena nearby and the energy of downtown St. Paul growing, Eagle Street is positioned to be a top destination for both locals and visitors. It’s a nod to tradition while embracing a fresh new chapter.
If you loved the old Eagle Street, or if you’re simply looking for a lively sports bar in St. Paul, this spot should be on your list.
