Minnesota’s coffee scene is about to heat up in a big way. Rogers, Arkansas-based 7 Brew Coffee has announced plans to open more than 60 new drive-thru stands across the Twin Cities metro by 2030.
A Different Kind of Coffee Shop
Unlike traditional cafés, 7 Brew operates out of small 510-square-foot buildings designed with double drive-thru lanes. This setup allows the company to focus on speed and convenience — serving busy commuters who want a quick caffeine fix without leaving their car. Each location is expected to create up to 75 jobs, a notable economic boost for local communities.
First Locations Announced
Four suburban sites are already set to open between late 2025 and early 2026:

These locations were chosen for their proximity to high-traffic retail areas and shopping centers, making them prime spots for commuters and daily coffee drinkers.
More Than Just Coffee
While coffee is the main attraction, 7 Brew also sells flavored energy drinks, smoothies, and customizable sodas — giving it a broader menu than some competitors. The brand hopes this variety will appeal to younger customers and energy drink fans as well as traditional coffee lovers.
Impact on Minnesota’s Coffee Scene
Minnesota is already home to strong coffee brands like Caribou Coffee, Starbucks, and Dunn Bros, not to mention a growing craft coffee scene in Minneapolis and St. Paul. With 7 Brew’s aggressive expansion, the Twin Cities could soon see a coffee landscape that feels more competitive than ever.
